The Competizione features much of the same technology as their higher-end offerings, like a KISS Air2 insert and Giro4 leg grippers, making it comfortable for long and short rides alike. The main panels use Castelli's Vortex fabric for optimal breathability and comfort, while inside of the legs are a tighter Lycra for better compression, stretch, and rebound, where there's more movement when pedaling.
