Better Down, Better Performance. Drawing on the popularity of our Launch Collection, we developed the Launch Vest. Constructed from a pre-baffled stretch ripstop, the lightweight Launch Vest is an ideal piece for transitional weather, perfect for layering under a shell. Please note: This vest is slim-fitting. The Launch Vest is insulated with 800-fill-power goose down at the front and back body, as well as at the collar. At the side body panels, it has 60 gram PrimaLoftA(R) Bio(TM) insulation, made from 100% recycled, biodegradable fibers. Pre-baffled construction means the baffles that contain the down are woven into the fabric itself, so there is no need for exterior stitching, keeping the surface of the fabric completely smooth. This process also means down feathers will not leak through needle holes in the seams, as often happens with traditional down pieces. And, the matte-finish nylon-and-spandex blend has tremendous stretch and ease of movement.
